Janine is the mastermind behind the whole brilliant idea. It is true to its namesake. A fanlisting is merely a listing of fans of a certain subject matter. She made a site that gathered fans of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and it just snowballed from there. Now there are fanlistings for almost anything you can think of. In this case, the listing is for fans of a particular couple.
“Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora”
Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora are romantic couple from the 1959 animated Disney classic Sleeping Beauty. The movie itself is about a beautiful princess born in a faraway kingdom is destined by a terrible curse to prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep which can only be awakened by true love's first kiss. This classic makes wondrous use of Tchaikovsky's same-titled ballet score. Phillip and Aurora met initially when Aurora was born and Phillip was a few years older. Their fathers Kings Hubert and Stefan betrothed them in an effort to unite the two kingdoms. But after Aurora had been cursed by Maleficent, she was sent to live with the Three Good Fairies and was renamed Briar Rose. Jump ahead sixteen years and Briar Rose (Aurora) and Prince Phillip meet each other in the woods and fall in love at first site, not knowing they are already betrothed or who the other was for that matter. They plan to meet later that night but Briar Rose is told who she is and is taken to her real home. Maleficent shows up at the castle and makes sure her curse is completed and then goes off to the cottage to wait for Prince Phillip. She takes him prisoner but he is later rescued by the Three Good Fairies and told that Briar Rose and Aurora are one in the same. He goes to King Stefan’s castle and kills Maleficent and then saves Aurora with “love’s first kiss”. They join their families in the main hall to dance and live happily ever after.
